THE ASK
Celebrating over 40 years of the Roots & Shoots program was more than just an event—it was an opportunity to honor Dr. Jane Goodall’s incredible legacy and inspire the next generation of changemakers. The Jane Goodall Institute envisioned a day that would bring together a thousand Bay Area Students at Crissy Field, while also connecting them with Roots & Shoots students from around the world.
The goal was to create an experience that would spark conversations about the future of our planet, tackling critical issues like climate change, habitat destruction, and animal trafficking, all leading up to a powerful keynote from Dr. Goodall herself.
THE EXECUTION
We aimed to make every moment meaningful. Our team expertly managed logistics, from transportation to volunteer coordination, ensuring the day ran smoothly. The event culminated in Dr. Goodall’s inspiring keynote, leaving everyone motivated and connected to her mission.
It was a day of celebration, learning, and a shared commitment to the future.
THE ANSWER
Partnering with the Jane Goodall Institute was a dream come true for us. We were excited to create an event that would not only celebrate the past 40 years but also look toward the future. We worked closely with dozens of environmental organizations, coordinating the logistics for their interactive stations where students could engage, learn, and earn stamps in their "Join Jane Passports."
Bringing everyone together—both in person and virtually—was no small feat, but we loved the challenge. We partnered with tech experts to ensure that even in remote classrooms in Africa, the connections were strong, and the experience was seamless for everyone involved.
Working at Crissy Field, surrounded by the natural beauty of San Francisco, was truly special. We collaborated with local authorities and government agencies to respect and preserve this historic site, while still delivering an unforgettable event.
